I love discounts and can always find a better deal. My parents were born in very poor families and have looked for ways to save money. This mindset was passed on to me as I believe that there are always better deals than what we are given.

For example, when I interned in Kolibra Capital I noticed that no one was in charge of organising their annual investors meeting. Therefore, I started to independently organise the annual investors meeting. This involved settling transactions for food, location, venue decoration, and gifts. Although the budget of $922 made it difficult to accommodate 50 guests, I was able to negotiate with vendors and received discounts of up to 50%. After presenting these options to the managing director, he chose the options that best suited their requirements.
