1) Get Investment - Angel Spotlight

Kylie Frazer - Eleanor Ventures

Industry: All of them. Diversification is key to our investment thesis. Personally, I'm a big believer in the Australian agtech opportunity.
Stage: Ideally a product in market and some early signs of traction.
Check Size: We've worked hard to get more certainty on this - syndicates are unpredictable beasts. Now, our minimum is $150K and our average is $400K.
Investments to date: We made some great investments in 2020 including Goterra, Eugene Labs, Xailient, Chatterize, Catalyst Technologies, Agscent, Amaka, Multitudes, Tiliter, Fresh Equities and Heaps Normal. We have at least 2 more deals to announce before the end of the year. And we have invested in 5 funds as well (three for Startmate, Tenacious Ventures and Tractor Ventures). It's been a big year! We are happy to lead or follow.

We always welcome new investors to come along and join us. Choose which deals you like and how much you want to put in (checks from $5K). Sophisticated investors only, sorry.

I frequently get asked if we only back women founders, which is not the case. We just happen to have an all-woman investment team (which frankly, shouldn't be such a novelty). My hope is that more women funders will translate to more women founders.
